21. Blanket

Blaine was an epic blanket thief. And not just that, he managed to starfish across the bed with the most honed of skills. Kurt had been so used to sleeping methodically before he started dating, and then Blaine started to stay over and he wasn’t sure he could have anticipated what it took getting used to sharing a bed with someone.

As much as he pretended to be annoyed, though, the truth of the matter was that snuggling up to that familiar warm body no matter what position Blaine was lying in had fast become one of his favourite things.

19. Sundress

"That sundress looks like what would be spawned if the tracksuit brigade at the local bingo club had an affair with Mrs Doubtfire's table cloth in the cheap underwear section of Walmart," Kurt spat out at Rachel bitchily, arms clamping across his chest with a distasteful crinkle of his nose.

He watched in smug satisfaction as she floundered, offended, but before she could even respond, he spun on his heal and stalked away from her. Maybe he was a little bitter after everything, but even that was no excuse for him to remain in the presence of atrocious fashion sense.

15. Raft

Ever since Kurt got rejected for NYADA, he had been having weird dreams of being trapped in isolated places with no way out. The latest was a strange recreation of Castaway, where he was hairy, stuck on a raft and having in-depth conversations with a ball with Blaine’s stuck to it. He knew he it had to be a subconscious feeling of lack of control with his future, and who could blame him?

But rolling over and finding a sleepy Blaine’s arms at the ready for a comforting cuddle every single time, the bad dreams never seemed as scary then.

12. Jump

Singing, running around dressed only in pyjamas, dancing and jumping on beds, appearing in a TV advertisement for mattresses. It was one of many, many memories that Kurt was going to take from McKinley High and Lima with him when he packed up to move to New York in the fall to start the next chapter of his life.

He knew his Midwest home town had given him a lot of memories, and not always good, but it was the ones with New Directions and Glee Club that he would probably always cherish above and beyond just about everything else.

6. Plant

It was only supposed to be a couple of calm drinks at a get-together at Puck’s place celebrating their graduation. It turned into one of the most epic parties New Directions had been involved in, including the time Blaine stage-dived and kissed Rachel during Spin the Bottle. The last thing Kurt remembered was picking out his awesome outfit, looking fabulous, and snogging Blaine senseless up against the car before they went into Puck’s place.

He woke up in nothing but his underwear, a flaming pink feather boa, facepaint and heaving into Carole’s favourite pot plant in the foyer. Good times...

1. Candle

Kurt would never forget the explosion of butterflies in his stomach when Blaine stood up in front of the Warblers and said he wanted to sing a duet with Kurt. It was one of those things you hoped would become a reality, but you were convinced it would only ever remain in your dreams.

But when Blaine told him the song he selected was ‘Candles’ because it had a little more emotion right before he captured Kurt’s lips in his first real kiss, Kurt couldn’t care less what they sung about and his life would never be the same again.
